Meet David Baehr - Owner/CEO

David is the driving force behind Baehr Inc., a dynamic team operating under American Realtors. His dedicated team includes Kyle Vesling, Josh Harms, Sarah Hodges, and Heidi Gottschalk. 

David's journey in real estate began in 1992 at the age of 15 when his parents transitioned from dairy farming to property

investment. With hands-on experience in construction and property management, David played a pivotal role in

rehabilitating 12 apartment units within 2-3 years. In 1995, he ventured into multi-unit housing by renovating his late grandfather's home into a Community Based Residential Facility, gaining valuable insights into health codes and senior housing licensure. 

Having obtained his real estate license in 1995, David established Baehr Inc. in 1997, focusing on brokerage services for both clients and personal properties. His track record speaks volumes, consistently achieving the Top Producer position at American Realtors for an impressive 22 consecutive years.

As a managing member of real estate ownership entities, David is actively involved in 1031 tax deferred exchanges, deal structuring, contract reviews, and legal matters. His brokerage activities cover a wide spectrum, from listing properties for sale and lease,  to negotiating offers and coordinating marketing efforts. The Investors Club, initiated in 2003, underlines his commitment, boasting a membership of over 20,000. 

Beyond real estate, David contributes to community development, serving on committees such as the Comprehensive Planning Committee, Business Ad Hoc committee for Economic Development, and Business Improvement District Board. Leadership roles in organizations like the East Side Club further highlight his dedication.

David owns a real estate portfolio of approximately 700 units with the help of his great staff and companies, Ursa Management and Prairie Construction. David is also an owner and serves on the Board of Directors of American Extractions. AE has produced the world's first CBD nano-ionized distillate using Cellular Deconstruction™ Technology. 

On a personal note, David celebrates 17 years of marriage and resides in Sun Prairie with his four children. His unique business approach is defined by 28 years of comprehensive real estate experience, covering everything from vacant land platting to ground-up development and multi-million-dollar transactions.
